Questions
Where does the ingredient data come from?
From Open Food Facts, a free, open database of millions of products built by volunteers around the world. Picky only sends the barcode you scanned.
A product isn't found. What now?
Picky links you to Open Food Facts, where anyone can add a product in about a minute. Once added, it works for everyone.
Does it work with imported products?
Yes. Picky uses language-independent ingredient data, so a label in French, German or Turkish is understood the same way.
Can I change the app's language?
Yes. Open My Filters and pick Language at the top: 25 languages, or follow your iPhone's language. The switch is instant.
Is this medical advice?
No. Picky is for information only. Always check the package, especially if you have a food allergy.
